Blank Viking Round Shield – 35 Inch, Unpainted

A plain, primed 35-inch (90 cm) round shield made for you to paint. Viking shields were typically decorated individually rather than to any standard system, so this blank gives re-enactors and painters a base for their own design.

It is made of poplar wood bound in linen, with a primer finish and a rounded, horizontal wooden grip. The steel boss ships unmounted, with mounting hardware included, so assembly is required.
