Full description
This Primus-grade sword reconstructs an early Viking Age sword with a tri-lobed pommel and a cast bronze hilt. Petersen's Type D swords are found across Scandinavia and the Viking-influenced lands, often in burials, and date from the 9th to the early 10th century.
The blade has a central fuller and the pommel cap is riveted over the tang. The sword comes with a leather-wrapped wooden scabbard with bronze fittings.
Class: Light Combat. The edge is unsharpened.
