Fenrir Viking Shield – Compact, 24 Inch

A compact, hand-painted Viking round shield showing the wolf Fenrir in Norse knotwork, with his name in runes beneath the boss. Fenrir, child of Loki and the giantess Angrboda, was one of three monstrous foes of the gods. The gods bound him, at the cost of Tyr's hand, and in the myth he breaks free at Ragnarök.

At 24 inches it is easy to carry and hang, and it suits Viking re-enactment, wall display, Norse-themed decor, costume and photography.
