Viking Jarl's Sword

The jarl was a Norse noble ranking just below a king. This sword takes its name from that rank and belongs to the family of Viking, or Carolingian-era, swords used across Western and Northern Europe. It has a tempered C60 steel blade, a cast brass hilt with knotwork and rune-like motifs, and a colourful dyed-leather grip and scabbard fit for a chieftain or champion.

It is a good choice for costume, re-enactment and Viking-themed displays. Keep the blade lightly oiled to prevent rust.
