Full description
Inspired by the ceremonial and symbolic artistry of the Viking Age, this sword draws on the elegant lines of 10th-century Viking swords. The broad double-edged blade follows the familiar profile found on many surviving examples, while the green leather grip and Viking-style pommel give it a look of its own.
It is a historically inspired interpretation rather than a copy of a single find. The wood-core scabbard is covered in brown leather and fitted with suspension loops.
Class: Display and historical interpretation. The edge is unsharpened.
